What a wonderful afternoon. Nice friends and family and a lot of food and ice cream. There were 20 of us from 16 months, 6 and 9 year old, teenagers, and us older ones. Jason was at the bomb grill, grilling up hamburgers and we ate them as fast as they came off the grill.
Thanks to Marilyn and Ron we received our t-shirts and the rest of them are at our house. So please get them picked up as soon as possible. We have around 20 left over, so if anyone wants more, let me know.
Thank you all for bringing food, fun and laughter to our home, and thank you to the Lopers and Deckers for bringing ice cream.

I just wanted to remind everyone of our party this Sunday at 3 PM. Bring a chair and if you can, a side dish to go with hamburgers and home made ice cream. So far I have heard from Lundys, Billings, Lopers, Deckers, Olsons and Crosses. If there are any additions or corrections please let me know so that we will have enough hamburgers.
Also, the t-shirts are in, so bring some cash and get your shirts. Hope to see a lot of you here.

What a great Fourth of July. Beside celebrating our Independence, we celebrated our oldest son, David’s, birthday, in Eureka, KS. Our family, 14 of us, had a cookout and home made ice cream, then we had box seats to watch the last year of “Eureka Downs” races, and then on to the parade downtown with free hamburgers at the park and fireworks afterwards.
We had a great day. ~ Judy and Gary Cross
Please try to make the Wings & Wheels Fly-In & Classic Car Show on July 11 at Strother Field, between Winfield and Ark City. They would like aircraft, motorcycle, and military vehicle displays. Let’s make a good show for MKMVPA.
