Eureka Convoy Update

Well, due to circumstances not under our control, we are not going to go to Eureka on the convoy. Jim Lynne’s jeep broke down on the Arkansas convoy, Bill Morris’ motorcycle had problems and Jason Smith couldn’t get a trailer at the last minute because it is stuck in mud. So we will get together on another date when the weather isn’t so bad and plan again.

To you that were going to go, thanks for sticking in there and let’s try it again in a month or so.

Eureka Convoy

The officers have discussed having all who are interested bring their military vehicles to Eureka (60 miles East of Wichita on Highway 254 or 400) for a convoy up into the Flint Hills North of Eureka. We will meet at the Wal-Mart store parking lot in El Dorado around 9:30 am on May 2nd. Then follow us into Eureka. We will either go on our convoy when we get there or wait until after lunch. Just a one day excursion where the old oil towns used to be and on top where you can see for miles. We will talk about it more at our next meeting. Please let me know if you are interested in going, so we can plan. For more information, ask Judy or Gary.
