Veterans Day Parade Recap by Judy

What a great Veteran’s parade and display. The dignitaries said that this was the largest Veterans Day parade ever held in Wichita.

We had Jim Christy, Ron and Marilyn Decker, Brenda and Chuck Loper, Judy and Gary Cross, Jason and Cooper Smith, Joe Rankin, Roger Klingman and Gracie, Kendall, Ashton, Weston and Janice Lundy, all representing the MKMVPA.

After the parade we all assembled at the Lawrence Dumont Stadium parking area for a display of vehicles, floats, bands and dignitaries. There were food vendors and music.

Attached are some snapshots.

Meeting and Work Day Reminder

At our last meeting it was decided to have a work day on the 17th of November to fold tents and store for next year. We will need at least three members to help at the Aviation Museum at 9 AM and the rest at the Augusta Museum at 10 AM. Please let me know who can help at the Aviation Museum at 9 AM and would also be able to pull the trailer to the Augusta Museum.

We will have our meeting at Augusta.
