McConnell AFB Open House

The Air Show dates/times are 14-15 July from 1000-1730. The entrance will be through McConnell AFB West Gate off of George Washington Blvd. Major Rubera will be sending you a couple of checklist for the Entry Access List (EAL) and Vehicle entry list. We will need them filled out and emailed back. This will ensure everything goes smooth.

If you have any more questions please feel free to email me: Donald.Woods-02@mcconnell.af.mil.

Jeep Collection for Sale

I saw an ad in the recent Hemmings Motor News that said an elder veteran had a jeep collection for sale. The guy selling the collection for the veteran is named Tom Brady and his phone number is (303) 321-1081. The website for the information is www.goldendecadechevys.com. There are WWII jeeps (including two slat grills), M-38s and civilian jeeps. I thought the membership would be interested in this! See you guys at Little Rock!

From Our President

Our club has participated in several events: Kanza Days, WWII Convoy, Memorial Day at Resthaven, and The Wings of Remembrance. We also have members who will be attending the National MVPA Convention in Little Rock, Arkansas this year.

Our original web site is back: www.mkmvpa.org. Yea!

The 501c3 is still in process. I have no fear that due to the hard work and long hours put in by Judy and Brenda, it will arrive soon. Thank you, Judy and Brenda!

Welcome to our three newest members! We will be having an Ice Cream Social on July 8th in Wichita. Our annual rally is planned for the last weekend in September. Have a safe summer!
